Matt Craven Matt Craven was born in the small Canadian town of Port Colborne, Ontario, on November 10, 1956. His real name is Matthew John Crnkovich. His father died six weeks after he was born and Matt quit school in his sophomore year to help support the family. He worked numerous jobs before auditioning for and winning the part of Jonathan Harker in Niagara Falls Music Theatre's production of "Dracula". His big-screen debut was in "Meatballs" and he starred in the Academy Award-nominated short film "Bravery in the Field". Matt has appeared in many movies including "Tin Men", “Jacob’s Ladder,” “A Few Good Men” and “Crimson Tide.” He also starred in the television series "High Incident" and "L.A. Doctors". Matt lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Sally, and their two children, Nicholas and Josephine. Matt portrays George Riley, a pro-bono lawyer committed to protecting his small clinic. He has this to say about his character: “My character will win or lose, but he’s doing the right thing - doing what he loves, which is not working in the corporate world. The first thing that attracted me to this show was that it was not a typical law show,” said Craven. “It’s not about cases and courtrooms. It’s about people who inhabit the world of law. This drama takes chances and, along with unexpected humor, lies an undercurrent of corporate and personal betrayal.” |
